RefleXion completed the first-ever patient treatment with SCINTIX biology-guided radiotherapy on the RefleXion X1 machine at Stanford Medicine Cancer Center in August 2023. The FDA granted De Novo marketing authorization and Breakthrough Device designation for lung tumors. The technology has received FDA clearance for treating lung and bone tumors, and the RefleXion X1 is also cleared for stereotactic body radiotherapy (SBRT), stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS), and intensity modulated radiotherapy (IMRT).
