Rehabilitation Institute of Michigan

The Rehabilitation Institute of Michigan (RIM) is a premier academic rehabilitation hospital located in Detroit and a member of the Detroit Medical Center (DMC). It specializes in the treatment of complex conditions such as traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, stroke, and major orthopedic trauma. As a major research hub, RIM is home to the Southeastern Michigan Traumatic Brain Injury System (SEMTBIS), one of only a few federally designated centers of excellence in the United States.
