RehabiliTech

RehabiliTech was a medical technology company focused on developing assistive communication and rehabilitation devices for individuals with severe motor impairments. The company's flagship product, I-TRAX, was a head-mounted eye-tracking system that allowed users to control a computer cursor and communicate through eye movements. Founded as a spin-off from the University of Washington, RehabiliTech targeted patients suffering from conditions such as ALS, stroke, and spinal cord injuries. The company was eventually acquired by DynaVox (now Tobii Dynavox), a leader in the augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) market, to integrate its eye-tracking technology into broader assistive platforms.
