REM Medical Clinical Research was a specialized clinical research organization (CRO) and clinical trial site based in Tucson, Arizona, focused on sleep medicine and neuropsychiatry. Established in 2009 as a division of REM Medical Corporation following the acquisition of PsyPharma Global's Tucson operations, the center provided comprehensive Phase II-IV clinical trial services. It specialized in the evaluation of pharmacological and device-based treatments for disorders such as insomnia, sleep apnea, restless legs syndrome, and narcolepsy. The facility was led by Principal Investigator Derek Loewy, PhD, and served major pharmaceutical sponsors before the parent company was acquired by SleepMed in 2011.
