Company intelligence / Profile preview
Renaissance III, Inc. was a Dallas-based non-profit healthcare organization primarily focused on providing HIV/AIDS prevention, education, and clinical services to the African American community. Founded in 1993, the organization operated a health clinic and conducted targeted outreach programs, such as door-to-door education campaigns, to address high infection rates among minority populations. The company gained significant recognition for its culturally sensitive approach to HIV advocacy and support services in the Dallas area. However, the organization faced major operational challenges in the mid-2000s, leading to the termination of its federal cooperative agreements by the CDC in 2005 due to financial mismanagement. Following its closure, many of its leadership and community initiatives were transitioned into new entities like Abounding Prosperity, Inc.
