RenaSci

RenaSci was a UK-based preclinical contract research organization focused on in vivo pharmacology consultancy and experimental services for pharmaceutical and biotechnology clients. Founded in 2001 in Nottingham, the company specialized in abuse and dependence testing as well as central nervous system and metabolic disease research, and it supported programs from target identification through post-registration activities. RenaSci stated that it had helped advance more than 30 new chemical entities into clinical development and supported 10 marketed drugs. In July 2018, it was acquired by Sygnature Discovery and was later fully integrated into the Sygnature Discovery brand, so it no longer operates as a standalone active company. Its capabilities now sit within Sygnature's broader integrated drug discovery and non-clinical services offering.
