Renovacor is a preclinical-stage biotechnology company focused on developing adeno-associated virus (AAV) gene therapies for patients with genetically defined cardiovascular diseases. The company's lead program, REN-001, is designed to treat BAG3-associated dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM), a severe form of heart failure caused by mutations in the BAG3 gene.
