Repeater is a Cambridge-based biotechnology company dedicated to developing precision oncology therapies that target the nucleolus and ribosomal DNA (rDNA) instability. Launched in 2024 with backing from Atlas Venture, Forbion, and Omega Funds, the company focuses on exploiting the unique vulnerabilities of cancer cells that exhibit rDNA instability and hyper-activated ribosome biogenesis. By inducing selective nucleolar stress, Repeater’s small molecule candidates aim to induce apoptosis in tumor cells while minimizing impact on healthy tissue.
