Resilience Research Centre

Resilience Research Centre is an active Canada-based nonprofit research organization affiliated with Dalhousie University that studies resilience across cultures and develops tools, evaluations, and interventions to support psychological, social, cultural, and physical well-being. Led by Dr. Michael Ungar, the centre focuses on how children, youth, adults, families, workplaces, and communities function under stress and adversity. Its offerings include resilience measurement instruments such as the Child and Youth Resilience Measure (CYRM), Adult Resilience Measure (ARM), BRAVE Measure, the Rugged Resilience Measure, the R2 Resilience Program, and program evaluation services. Rather than operating as a drug-development biotech or pharma company, it serves as a research and implementation hub for mental health, community wellness, and resilience-building programs.
