Resolution Therapeutics is a clinical-stage biotechnology company pioneering the development of macrophage cell therapies for inflammatory and fibrotic diseases. The company's lead program, RTX-001, is an autologous engineered macrophage therapy designed to promote organ repair and reduce fibrosis in patients with compensated liver cirrhosis. Founded by Syncona in partnership with the University of Edinburgh, Resolution Therapeutics leverages a proprietary platform to produce highly potent, pro-regenerative macrophages. The company is currently conducting the EMERALD Phase 1/2 clinical trial to evaluate the safety and efficacy of its lead candidate. Beyond its autologous programs, Resolution is developing an allogeneic platform using induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) to create off-the-shelf macrophage therapies.
