Company intelligence / Profile preview
Resonex was a U.S. medical device company focused on magnetic resonance imaging systems. The company developed and commercialized MRI scanners and related software and hardware components, including the RX4000 system and the Paradigm MRI platform. FDA records show PMA approval activity for its MRI systems in 1988 and multiple subsequent device filings through the early 1990s. Industry sources indicate Resonex was founded in 1984, operated in Sunnyvale and later Fremont, California, and was ultimately acquired/reorganized after financial distress in 1994. It does not appear to be an active independent company today.
