Company intelligence / Profile preview
Respira Labs has developed a wearable device ("Sylvee") that uses embedded microphones and speakers to measure changes in acoustic resonance from the chest wall. This enables early detection and monitoring of trapped air and other markers associated with COPD exacerbations and other respiratory conditions. The company has completed feasibility studies with about 30 patients across Florida and California and was seeking FDA clearance as of early/mid‑2020s. No published pivotal clinical results yet.
