Overview
Restore Medical has developed ContraBand™, the world’s first transcatheter pulmonary artery banding system for HFrEF patients. The device is minimally invasive and targets symptomatic HFrEF patients who remain symptomatic despite guideline-directed medical therapy. Early feasibility studies have shown significant improvements in left ventricular volume reduction, hemodynamic function, and physical capacity. The FDA granted Breakthrough Device Designation based on these promising safety and efficacy results from ongoing trials.
