Company intelligence / Profile preview
Resurrection Health Care was a major Catholic healthcare system serving the Chicago metropolitan area. Sponsored by the Sisters of the Holy Family of Nazareth and the Sisters of the Resurrection, the network provided a comprehensive range of services including acute care, long-term care, and home health. The system operated several notable facilities such as Resurrection Medical Center and Saint Joseph Hospital. In 2011, Resurrection Health Care merged with Provena Health to form Presence Health, creating the largest Catholic health system in Illinois. Following subsequent acquisitions and reorganizations, its legacy facilities are now primarily part of the Ascension health system.
