Resurrection Medical Center

Ascension Resurrection, historically known as Resurrection Medical Center, is a premier tertiary care hospital located on the northwest side of Chicago, Illinois. Founded in 1953 by the Sisters of the Resurrection, the facility provides a comprehensive range of medical services, including 24-hour emergency care, advanced cardiovascular programs, and a dedicated oncology center. The hospital has undergone several organizational transitions, moving from the Resurrection Health Care system to Presence Health, then AMITA Health, and finally rebranding under the Ascension Illinois umbrella in 2022. As a teaching hospital, it hosts multiple residency programs and is recognized as a Primary Stroke Center.
