RetiNova Therapeutics is a biotechnology company focused on the development of next-generation gene therapies for inherited retinal diseases (IRDs). The company was co-founded by Dr. Jean Bennett and Dr. Albert Maguire, the pioneering researchers who developed Luxturna, the first FDA-approved gene therapy for a genetic disease. RetiNova leverages advanced adeno-associated virus (AAV) vector technology to deliver functional genes to the retina, aiming to restore vision in patients with previously untreatable conditions.
