The Ellison Institute of Technology (formerly the Lawrence J. Ellison Institute for Transformative Medicine) is a multidisciplinary research organization and healthcare provider focused on reimagining the treatment of cancer and other complex diseases. Led by Dr. David Agus and featuring key clinical leadership from Dr. Reva Basho, the Institute integrates clinical care, cross-disciplinary research laboratories, and advanced technology to accelerate medical innovation. Its primary clinical focus is on high-risk breast cancers, particularly targeting the PI3K pathway and developing novel immune therapies. The Institute operates the Ellison Clinic at Saint John's and leads numerous clinical trials, including significant contributions to the National Cancer Institute's ComboMATCH trial.
