RFK Children’s Action Corps

RFK Children’s Action Corps is a prominent non-profit organization dedicated to providing child welfare, juvenile justice, and behavioral health services. Founded in 1969 as a living memorial to Robert F. Kennedy, the organization operates residential treatment centers, community-based programs, and alternative schools for at-risk youth. In 2020, the organization merged with the Justice Resource Institute (JRI), integrating its specialized trauma-informed care into a larger network of human services. Its mission focuses on helping children and families who have experienced trauma, abuse, or neglect to lead productive and healthy lives through therapeutic intervention and advocacy.
