RGM

Regeneron Genetic Medicines (RGM) is a specialized research and development division of Regeneron Pharmaceuticals focused on advancing next-generation genetic medicine modalities. The unit integrates Regeneron's proprietary genetics-to-medicine capabilities, leveraging the Regeneron Genetics Center (RGC) to identify novel targets and applying diverse therapeutic platforms including siRNA, CRISPR/Cas9 gene editing, and viral vector-based gene therapies. RGM operates through significant strategic collaborations with industry leaders such as Alnylam Pharmaceuticals and Intellia Therapeutics to accelerate the development of treatments for both rare and common diseases. Currently, the division manages a robust clinical pipeline with programs targeting liver, eye, and CNS diseases, accounting for a substantial portion of Regeneron's overall innovative output.
