Company intelligence / Profile preview
Rheon Medical has developed and commercialized the eyeWatch system, the world’s first adjustable glaucoma drainage implant. The device allows non-invasive postoperative adjustment of intraocular pressure using an external magnetic controller. Clinical results show successful use in over 250 patients across Europe with significant reduction in IOP and anti-glaucoma medication use while minimizing complications such as hypotony[1][4]. The product received CE mark approval in 2019 and is expanding into new markets with ongoing/planned FDA clinical trials[4][5].
