Company intelligence / Profile preview
Rheos Medicines was a biopharmaceutical company focused on developing precision medicines for immune-mediated diseases by targeting immunometabolism. The company's proprietary Metabolic Tuning Platform was designed to map the metabolic pathways that govern immune cell function, allowing for the identification of new drug targets and the stratification of patients based on their metabolic profiles. Their lead program, RHOS-101, was a small molecule inhibitor of MALT1 intended for the treatment of chronic graft-versus-host disease and other autoimmune conditions. Despite significant venture backing and a major partnership with Roche, the company ceased operations in early 2023 after failing to secure additional funding.
