Rhodes Technologies

Rhodes Technologies was a U.S.-based pharmaceutical manufacturing company focused on active pharmaceutical ingredients and finished dosage forms. The company operated an FDA-registered, DEA-certified multipurpose manufacturing site in Coventry, Rhode Island, offering process development, chemical synthesis, drying, micronization, and dosage-form manufacturing services. It was historically associated with Purdue Pharma and Rhodes Pharmaceuticals and was known in part for controlled-substance and opioid-related manufacturing. The original Rhodes Technologies entity no longer appears to operate independently; its former Coventry manufacturing site was later owned by Noramco and then sold to Pharmaron in 2022. For biotech analysts, Rhodes Technologies is best understood as a legacy small-molecule API and manufacturing business rather than a drug-development biotech with an active clinical pipeline.
