Overview
Ribon Therapeutics was a clinical-stage biotech company developing first-in-class small molecule inhibitors targeting novel stress response pathways, especially monoPARPs such as PARP7 and PARP14. Its lead oncology program, RBN‑2397, advanced through Phase 1 and into Phase 1b/2 combination studies with pembrolizumab for squamous cell carcinoma of the lung. The second program, RBN‑3143—a PARP14 inhibitor—entered Phase 1 trials for atopic dermatitis. Despite strong investor backing and partnerships with major pharma companies, the company ceased operations in August 2024 after nearly a decade in business.
