RIGHT Fund

The RIGHT Foundation (Research Investment for Global Health Technology Foundation) is a South Korean public-private partnership established to support the research and development of health technologies for global health equity. It is funded by the South Korean Ministry of Health and Welfare, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, and several leading South Korean life science companies. The foundation provides grants for the development of vaccines, therapeutics, and diagnostics specifically targeting infectious diseases that disproportionately affect developing nations. By leveraging South Korea's R&D and manufacturing capabilities, the RIGHT Foundation aims to accelerate the availability of affordable and effective health interventions worldwide. Its portfolio includes significant projects in cholera, malaria, tuberculosis, and pandemic preparedness.
