Rinda Ubuzima

Rinda Ubuzima is a Rwanda-based health research organization that conducts clinical research, social science studies, laboratory services, data management, and community engagement programs. The organization was established in 2001 and operates as a locally registered non-governmental organization in Rwanda. Its work spans vaccine trials, drug trials, point-of-care diagnostics, and public health programs focused on malaria, HIV/AIDS, COVID-19, Ebola, reproductive health, and related areas. Rinda Ubuzima positions itself as a research partner for global health institutions and the Rwanda Ministry of Health, with experience supporting Phase II and Phase III clinical trials. The group also provides community outreach, capacity building, and laboratory support across Rwanda and in parts of East and Central Africa.
