Rise Against Hunger

Rise Against Hunger is an international hunger relief non-profit organization that coordinates the packaging and distribution of food and other life-changing aid to people in developing nations. Founded in 1998 as Stop Hunger Now, the organization operates through four strategic pathways: Nourishing Lives, Empowering Communities, Responding to Emergencies, and Growing the Movement. It is widely recognized for its volunteer-driven meal packaging program, which produces nutrient-rich meals containing rice, soy, vegetables, and 20 essential vitamins and minerals to combat global malnutrition. Beyond immediate food assistance, the organization implements sustainable agriculture projects and provides emergency relief in response to natural disasters and humanitarian crises across more than 70 countries. The organization partners with corporate and community groups to mobilize resources and advocate for long-term solutions to end global hunger by 2030.
