Rivertek Medical was an Israeli medical device company that specialized in developing advanced catheter technologies for interventional cardiology and radiology. The company's primary focus was on addressing the challenges of treating chronic total occlusions (CTO), which are complete arterial blockages that are difficult to cross using conventional methods. Its flagship products, the RiverCross and RiverGuide catheters, were designed to provide superior steerability and support for guidewires during complex vascular procedures. Founded in 2010 and incubated within The Trendlines Group, Rivertek successfully brought its devices to market before being acquired by Teleflex in 2014. The acquisition allowed Teleflex to integrate Rivertek's specialized CTO crossing tools into its global vascular and interventional product portfolio.
