RiverVision Development Corp was a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on developing therapies for ophthalmic and endocrine diseases. The company's primary asset was teprotumumab (RV001), a fully human monoclonal antibody targeting the insulin-like growth factor 1 receptor (IGF-1R). Teprotumumab was developed for the treatment of Thyroid Eye Disease (TED), also known as Graves' ophthalmopathy, a rare autoimmune condition. In 2017, RiverVision was acquired by Horizon Pharma, which successfully completed the clinical development and secured FDA approval for the drug. The product is now commercially available under the brand name Tepezza.
