Rochester Medical Corporation was a prominent developer and manufacturer of innovative medical devices focused on urological and continence care. The company specialized in the design of silicone-based catheters, including the Magic3 intermittent catheter and the Spirit male external catheter. Their products were engineered to improve patient comfort, reduce the risk of infection, and provide alternatives to traditional latex-based devices. Headquartered in Stewartville, Minnesota, the company maintained a significant global presence with a strong focus on the North American and European markets. In 2013, Rochester Medical was acquired by C. R. Bard for approximately $262 million to enhance Bard's urology product portfolio.
