Rock River Valley Blood Center

Rock River Valley Blood Center (RRVBC) is an independent, non-profit community blood center that serves as the primary supplier of blood and blood components to hospitals in Northern Illinois and Southern Wisconsin. Established in 1952, the organization operates multiple permanent donor centers and a robust mobile blood drive program to collect whole blood, platelets, and plasma. RRVBC is responsible for the testing, processing, and distribution of these life-saving products, supporting critical medical needs such as trauma care, oncology, and surgical procedures. In addition to blood collection, the center provides specialized clinical services including therapeutic phlebotomy and autologous donations.
