Roerig Farmaceutici Italiana was the Italian operating unit of Roerig, a specialized pharmaceutical division of Pfizer. Originally established as J.B. Roerig & Company before its acquisition by Pfizer in 1953, the division became a cornerstone of Pfizer's commercial success in the 20th century. It was primarily responsible for the marketing and distribution of significant therapeutic agents, including the antifungal Diflucan and the antidepressant Zoloft.
