The company is best known for its proprietary DRY FLOATATION technology, which is used in cushions, back supports, mattress overlays, and custom support surfaces designed to redistribute pressure and help protect skin and soft tissue. ROHO originated in Belleville, Illinois, where its manufacturing footprint remains, and its products are distributed globally. Permobil acquired ROHO in 2015 and has continued to market the business as a distinct seating and positioning brand.
