Romark is a privately held pharmaceutical company based in Tampa, Florida focused on discovering, developing, manufacturing, and commercializing small-molecule medicines, primarily in infectious diseases and selected oncology settings. Its best-known product is Alinia (nitazoxanide), an FDA-approved antiprotozoal for diarrhea caused by Giardia lamblia or Cryptosporidium parvum. The company also advanced NT-300, an extended-release nitazoxanide program, into Phase 3 clinical development for COVID-19 and other viral respiratory illnesses.
