Company intelligence / Profile preview
Rosetta Genomics was an Israel-based molecular diagnostics company focused on microRNA-based tests for oncology and personalized medicine. The company developed and commercialized genomic diagnostic assays including RosettaGX Cancer Origin, mi-KIDNEY, RosettaGX Reveal, and mi-LUNG, and also offered selected FISH and mutation-analysis tests through its U.S. laboratory operations. Rosetta built its business around proprietary microRNA discovery, extraction, quantification, and analysis technologies and a related intellectual property estate. The company was publicly traded on Nasdaq under the symbol ROSG, later traded on the OTC market as ROSGQ, and ultimately filed for bankruptcy in May 2018. Following its collapse, Genoptix had previously agreed to acquire the company, and Interpace Diagnostics later acquired select laboratory assets out of bankruptcy.
