Royce Medical was a prominent developer and manufacturer of orthopedic bracing and support products, specializing in non-invasive orthopedic solutions. Founded by Flick Royce, the company became a market leader through innovations such as the Equalizer walking brace and the Form Fit line of supports. The company's products were designed to improve patient mobility and recovery following musculoskeletal injuries or surgeries. In 2005, Royce Medical was acquired by the Icelandic medical device company Össur for approximately $156 million.
