S.P. Pharmaceuticals

S.P. Pharmaceuticals was a contract manufacturing organization (CMO) based in Albuquerque, New Mexico, specializing in the development and manufacture of sterile injectable drug products. The company provided a comprehensive suite of services, including aseptic liquid filling, lyophilization, and analytical support for both clinical and commercial-stage products. S.P. Pharmaceuticals served a broad range of clients in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries, handling both small molecules and biologics. In 2001, the company was acquired by DPT Laboratories, becoming their primary site for sterile manufacturing. The facility later operated under the name Renaissance Pharmaceuticals before being acquired by Curia (formerly AMRI) in 2020.
