Sabby Management (also referred to as Sabby Capital) is an active US-based hedge fund and investment firm specializing in activist investments, primarily in small cap healthcare, biotech, and therapeutics companies. It does not develop drugs itself but provides capital to companies in these sectors, often participating in rounds as a lead investor and maintaining a strong portfolio in the life sciences industry. Recently, it has acquired large positions in public companies such as Tonix Pharmaceuticals and frequently invests via warrants and structured equity vehicles. As an investment/hedge fund/venture firm, it is not a pipeline- or technology-based company and does not possess a clinical pipeline, platform technologies, nor direct drug programs; rather, it invests in and owns equity in companies that do.
