Sampharindo Retroviral Indonesia

PT Sampharindo Retroviral Indonesia (SRI) is an Indonesian pharmaceutical company specializing in the manufacturing and supply of antiretroviral (ARV) and antiviral medications. Established in 2017 as a joint venture between Indian pharmaceutical company Macleods Pharmaceuticals and local firm PT Sampharindo Perdana (part of Sampharindo Group), the company operates a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Semarang, Central Java. SRI is the first and only company in Indonesia dedicated to the production of antiretroviral drugs, aiming to reduce the country's reliance on imported HIV medications. Its product portfolio includes key ARV formulations such as Telavir (tenofovir + lamivudine + efavirenz), Telado (tenofovir + lamivudine + dolutegravir), and Lopivia (lopinavir + ritonavir), as well as the influenza antiviral Nocovir (oseltamivir).
