The San Diego Regional Technology Alliance (SDRTA) was a non-profit organization dedicated to fostering the growth of technology-based enterprises in the San Diego region. Established in 1994, it served as a regional technology alliance under the California Technology, Trade and Commerce Agency. The organization provided business assistance, access to capital, and networking opportunities for startups in sectors such as biotechnology, telecommunications, and software. SDRTA played a pivotal role in the San Diego innovation ecosystem by managing programs like the 'San Diego Technology Fast 50' and facilitating technology transfer from research institutions to the private sector.
