Company intelligence / Profile preview
The San Francisco Headache Clinic was a prominent medical practice and clinical research center located in San Francisco, California. Founded and directed by Dr. Jerome Goldstein, a board-certified neurologist, the clinic specialized in the diagnosis and treatment of complex headache disorders, including chronic migraines and cluster headaches. For over 40 years, the facility operated as the San Francisco Clinical Research Center, serving as a key site for Phase 2 and Phase 3 clinical trials that led to the FDA approval of numerous migraine therapies, such as triptans and CGRP monoclonal antibodies. The clinic also conducted extensive research into other neurological conditions, including Alzheimer's disease and Parkinson's disease, before its operations ceased following Dr. Goldstein's death in 2023.
