Sanarus Technologies has developed the Visica 2 cryoablation system, which is FDA-cleared and commercially available as a minimally invasive alternative to surgery for treating benign breast tumors such as fibroadenomas. The device is also in Phase 2 clinical trials for the treatment of malignant breast cancer. Thousands of successful cases have been reported with high patient satisfaction rates (~97%). Clinical results show promise in both safety and efficacy.
