Sanming Pacific Chemical is a specialty chemical manufacturer based in China that specializes in the production of precipitated silica. The company's products serve as critical components in industrial applications such as rubber and tires, as well as healthcare-related sectors including oral care (as toothpaste abrasives) and animal health (as carriers for feed additives). In 2005, the company was acquired by the German specialty chemicals group Evonik (then operating as Degussa) to serve as a strategic manufacturing hub in the Asia-Pacific region. Following the acquisition, the Sanming facilities were integrated into Evonik's global silica business line, focusing on high-quality inorganic materials for international markets.
