Sanovia

Sanovia was a U.S.-based healthcare technology company that developed pharmacy management and prior-authorization workflow solutions for health plans and pharmacy benefit managers. Its flagship product, PA-Logic, was a secure, CMS-compliant web-based application designed to automate and standardize prior-authorization decisions for specialty and other high-cost pharmaceuticals. The company focused on pharmaceutical administration, validation, utilization management, cost and workflow management, and fraud and abuse management rather than drug discovery or therapeutics. Sanovia raised venture financing from healthcare-focused investors before being acquired by Health Information Designs in 2014 and subsequently integrated into the acquirer.
