Santus

Santus, LLC (also known as Santus Laboratories) is a consumer healthcare and medical products company that specializes in branded and private-label dermatology and skincare products. Founded in 2015 through a joint venture between HealthEdge Investment Partners and Ambassador Enterprises, the company acquired the legacy skincare brands Lantiseptic and Boroleum from Summit Industries. Lantiseptic is a line of lanolin-based over-the-counter (OTC) products used to prevent and treat skin irritations, particularly in institutional settings like hospitals and nursing homes. Boroleum is a time-tested analgesic ointment used for the relief of nasal and facial discomfort. In August 2018, Santus was acquired by DermaRite Industries, a manufacturer of skin and wound care products.
