Saskatchewan Government Growth Fund Management Corporation (SGGFMC) is a provincial Crown corporation based in Regina, Saskatchewan. Established in 1989, the corporation was designed to manage investment funds raised through the federal Immigrant Investor Program to stimulate economic growth and job creation within the province. SGGFMC provides debt and equity financing to Saskatchewan-based businesses, acting as a provincial venture capital and private equity vehicle. While it is a generalist investor, the corporation has historically supported the life sciences and biotechnology sectors by providing capital to provincial bioscience entities. The entity currently manages several investment funds, including SGGF II through SGGF VIII, focusing on portfolio monitoring and capital recovery.
