Sawaya Partners

Sawaya Partners was a New York-based consumer-focused investment banking and M&A advisory firm founded in 2001 by Fuad Sawaya. The firm advised large and mid-sized public companies, family businesses, and private equity firms on sell-side and buy-side transactions, mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, and general strategic advisory. Its sector coverage centered on consumer categories including health and wellness, food and beverage, home, and automotive rather than drug development or healthcare services delivery. In December 2021, Sawaya Partners was acquired by Canaccord Genuity and continued under the Canaccord umbrella as CG Sawaya Partners. While it has advised clients in consumer health and wellness, it is not itself a biotech, pharma, or healthcare operating company.
