Scantek Medical was a medical technology company focused on the early detection of breast cancer through non-invasive diagnostic tools. The company's primary product, the BreastCare Digital Thermal System (DTS), utilized infrared thermography to identify abnormal heat patterns associated with tumor growth. Positioned as an adjunct to traditional mammography, the device was intended to improve detection rates, especially in younger women or those with dense breast tissue.
