Overview

Schiapparelli was a long-standing provider of automated centrifugal analysis instruments and diagnostic kits for clinical laboratories. It developed notable products such as the KII Ultracentrifuge, used in virus isolation for vaccine production, and a range of chemistry analyzers. The company exited the diagnostics business in the late 1990s after being acquired by Alfa Wassermann.
