Schmid Laboratories was a U.S. sexual health and consumer healthcare company best known for manufacturing and marketing condoms and related personal-care products, including the Ramses, Sheik, Koromex, and Lambskin brands. The business originated from Julius Schmid's condom manufacturing enterprise and, after being sold in 1963 to London Rubber Company International, operated under the Schmid Laboratories name. By the late 20th century it was a major commercial supplier of prophylactics and other intimate-care products in the U.S. market, with FDA device filings and multiple legacy trademarks.
