Science Based Targets initiative Europe

The Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) is a global organization that enables businesses to set ambitious emissions reduction targets in line with the latest climate science. It is a partnership between CDP, the United Nations Global Compact, World Resources Institute (WRI), and the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF). The initiative provides standards, tools, and guidance for companies to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and reach net-zero by 2050. SBTi Europe is the regional division focused on supporting European companies and financial institutions in aligning with the Paris Agreement and the European Green Deal. The organization operates a commercial subsidiary, SBTi Services, which provides independent validation of corporate climate targets.
